Local developer Stewart Satter, former mayor of Manalapan, has just unveiled plans for what’s being billed as one of the most expensive properties for sale in the country. Though ground has not yet been broken, the waterfront property has nonetheless hit the market with Nick Malinosky of The Exclusive


Group at Douglas Elliman for a whopping $285 million. The sky-high price is second only to a $295 million compound in Naples called Gordon Pointe, and whichever of the estates gets scooped up first has the potential to set a record as the costliest residential deal ever to go down in the U.S. The Manalapan estate is also currently one of the most expensive homes available in the world.
